Strawberry Chase 5K/10k/1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Join us for our annual 5k/10k/1mi Strawberry Chase! The course is flat and fast through historic Downtown Dayton, TN. It begins and ends at the Rhea County Community Center (Rc3- formerly the Rhea Family YMCA) and is professionally timed. This event is a part of the Dayton Tn Strawberry Festival (www.tnstrawberryfestival.com) and raises funds to provide fitness equipment for the Rhea County Community Center, a non-profit wellness organization which seeks to build a healthy community.

Packet Pickup May 10, 2019  6-8 PM at Rc3 and day of race.

Day of Race Schedule:

7:00AM - REGISTRATION and Packet Pick-up

5K - $30 (after April 28-$35)    10K - $35 (after April 28-$40)   1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - $15 (after April 28 -$20)

7:45 AM - Start 5K/10K - 
9:15AM - 1 Mile Start 

Awards: Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female, 1st place in age groups, and Masters male and female (40+). Strawberries, a 3-month membership to Rc3, and other gift certificates and prizes are also awarded to overall winners as well as to Masters. Only 12 year olds and under will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for the 1 mile race.

5k and 10k participants receive performance shirts.  1 milers receive a cotton shirt.

Strawberries, bagels, water and more will be provided for runners.

Strollers and dogs are welcome but will start at the back of the pack.

10k is a double loop route.
