Go back to your college days and help us #RaceFor Education! No tests or studying required – just pounding the pavement!

Then, party down with the Kings of Karaoke! (Free water and soda for the after-party, with beer and wine for sale at Café 329 - must be 21 or over.)

Race around SLCC’s campus and UL’s Research Park! Plus, witness two lucky SLCC students win a scholarship ON RACE DAY! #PayingItForward

Saturday, October 6th; 8am – 1-Mile Fun Run; 8:30am – 5K
Fruit provided before the race; Gumbo provided after the race!

Several lucky SLCC students will win a scholarship on Race Day! The more family and friends they bring, the more chances they have to win. All other scholarship funds raised will go through SLCC’s official application process.

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):
Early Bird Registration (before Sept. 15): 5K: $25; $15 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $15; $10 for SLCC Students T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th.

Registration (Sept. 15-Oct. 5): 5K: $30; $15 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $20; $10 for SLCC Students T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th.

Race-Day Registration (Oct. 6): 5K: $35; $20 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $25; $15 for SLCC Students T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th.

Awards: Top Overall M&F, & 1st, 2nd, 3rd, M&F each age group for a 5K and Top Overall M & F for a 1 Mile for 14 & Under
