Superhero 2-Mile Walk/Run

The Superhero 2-Mile Walk/Run is a fun, generally non-competitive race, encouraging the participation of all ages and fitness levels.  The superhero theme is intended to generate enthusiasm and drive home the idea that everyone is a superhero to someone else while modeling healthy behaviors. As this YMCA initiative benefits the Reach & Rise mentoring program, there is a particular focus in how adults can be superheroes to future superheroes. The other chief focus is in encouraging active living, especially in establishing a healthy lifestyle in youth.

Prizes are offered for Top Male, Top Female, Best Costume, and Best Superhero Duo. Children 10 and under race free (no T-shirt). All other registrations are $10 + a processing fee; waivers are required of all participants.
