Surgeon General's 5K at River West Festival Park

Attendees of the 2023 USPHS Scientific & Training Symposium, friends and family, and residents of Tulsa (May 8-11 in Tulsa, OK) are encouraged to participate in the Surgeon Generals 5k on Tuesday, May 9th at 6:45 am.  The run will be held at River West Festival Park, 2 miles from the Cox Convention Center on the West Bank of the Arkansas.   Transportation will be provided to and from the event.  Registration is free and includes a t-shirt.  Please reach out to Austin Van Horn with any questions about this event. Distance: 5K (with 1.5 Split)
APFT – Officers will be given the opportunity to perform their annual physical fitness test during this time. Upper body, core endurance, and flexibility will be scored before the SG 5K commences. Your run score will be recorded at the 1.5 mile mark along the 5K
Registration / Packet Pickup: Participants will get their run packet at the USPHS Symposium Registration on Monday.  You can also register then, but pre-registering via this site is strongly encouraged.
