About the event
Join us for the inaugural TARA 5K ROAD RACE, presented by Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen & Lightweight Fitness, a "fun run" that brings our community together for health, fitness, and empowering Clayton's underprivileged youth through sports and fitness.
Starting at Clayton County Sheriff's Office and winding down the rolling hills of Tara Boulevard, this 3.1 mile event concludes with a celebratory finish at Lightweight Fitness.
We're inviting everyone in the community to join us – from seasoned runners to families looking for a fun day out. Yes, that means kids, adults, and everyone in between! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer this event is for you. Walk, jog, or sprint – the goal is to finish with a smile. Proceeds will go to enriching athletic programs at underprivileged schools in Clayton County.
Free parking located at race start and shuttles available to take you back to the race start after finishing. Water will be provided at mile markers.
