About the event
The First Annual Texarkana Beer Derby is slated for 5:30PM July 14th at the New Haven Golf Club. This unique, one-mile run consists of drinking a 12 ounce beer and then running a quarter of a mile. To successfully complete the event, you have to do this four times. Let me put it this way, drink a beer and run a lap times 4. Four laps equals one mile. Four beers equals four beers. How much fun can that be?
