About the event
During these difficult months, we've all been training hard and building up our stamina, adding 1km each month. The 101010 Virtual Run will be the ultimate test to crown the whole series, a perfect opportunity to beat your personal best on a 10km distance.
The series is not only about challenging yourself and keeping up motivation despite the circumstances. It's also about helping other people and showing that the running community can unite for a common cause. 70% of each entry fee is donated to Doctors Without Borders, a remarkable organization that brings medical aid around the world. So far, participants from over 80 countries contributed to the common goal. For that, we're extremely thankful and proud! Let's show we still have more to give on the final straight!

This was my 1st 'race’ after a hip replacement in December 2019 and I just enjoyed it so much! Thank you WM and blessings to Doctors without Borders

Freedom of Choice always kicks in for Virtual Runs: choice of my own tracks, my own time, my own convenience. Again, I felt I was simply keeping up with nobody but myself (i.e., my own breathing, my own heart rate, my own convenience)...Oh, WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING...especially my dedicating this Run to my current employers in the healthcare system: St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson & Wayne Campuses, New Jersey, and CVS Health, Cedar Grove, New Jersey (and the entire CVS Health in the USA). They are also heroes in the middle of this COVID-19 Pandemic just like the heroes of Doctors Without Borders (Medicins Sans Frontieres).
The Distance seemed too much for me but if I follow my Rule of Thumb just to FunRun not keep up with anybody but myself’s well-being, I just finish the Run with so much JOY in my ❤️heart. More so, each FunRun for me serves meaningful if I dedicate it to people or entities which also give me or others so much Joy, Love, and Peace. Kudos to WORLDS MARATHONS: YOU ARE ALWAYS A HERO TO ME, too.
We went to a trail route with our two children. Great experience.

Great way to see and feel downtown Stavanger on a Saturday morning.
I took part from the beginning of the hole series, in every race, it was always fun!! I had 5 cool runs, virtually met nice people. Thx @worldsmarathons for the yourney!
