The Blue Man Run

Regional Urology and UsTOO proudly present The 3rd Annual Blue Man Run Against Prostate Cancer. The Blue Man Run began last year and is a celebration of life, of those who have risen to the challenge to fight prostate cancer, of the lives that have been lost to the disease, and of the people we will help to combat it in the future. All proceeds from the race will go to UsTOO, a nonprofit organization that provides support, education, and advocacy for patients and families affected by prostate cancer. Bring the whole family out and start your Father’s Day weekend celebration the healthy way!

Date & Starting Time: Saturday, June 15th 2019 Super Hero Kids Dash for Dad starts at 7:30 am 5K and 1 mile fun-run starts at 8:00 am.

 

Course Description: The race will start and finish at Wine Country in the Uptown Shopping Center and will proceed through South Highlands, a scenic and challenging road race for runners and walkers.

 

Registration: Registration is $35 until June 1st. $40 through June 14th. Race day Registration is $45.

 

 REGISTER EARLY! Shirts are included in registration. No shirts guaranteed to late registrants

 

Snooze for Dudes: Can't make it to the race or live out of town? Would you rather sleep in than run or walk on race day? Join us as a virtual participant by signing up to Snooze For Dudes. You can support the cause from the comfort of your own bed.

 

Packet Pick Up: You may pick up your packet at Sportspectrum Thursday, June 14th from 12 pm - 6 pm Friday, June 15th from 10 am – 5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the race site starting at 7:00 am.

 

Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $100 Gift Certificate to Sportspectrum. Additionally, overall age group finishers in 1st and 2nd place will also receive awards. Age Groups: Kids 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. All participants in the Super Hero Kids Dash for Dad will receive a Super Hero Cape.

 

Post Party: Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Following the race we will have an awards presentation, hear stories from our cancer survivors, enjoy free food and drinks provided by the Southern Fork food truck, dance to live music and more!
