The Greater Lansing Balloon Festival 5K Fun Run To Lift Up Lansing Students

The 3rd annual Greater Lansing Balloon Festival will be held at the Hope Sports Complex on 5801 Aurelius Road in Lansing. This event will take place on August 24th and 25th, 2018 as a fundraiser for the Lansing Promise Scholarship Programs. Kicking off this event on Friday evening, Re/max Real Estate Professional, Tim Gale along with Playmakers will be hosting a 5k Fun Run at the complex. The Fun Run will start at 6:30pm. Enjoy walking or running with a back drop of more than 20 balloons set to take off at 7pm. Registration for the race is free. This year one has the option to an official Balloon Festival T-shirt that commemorates the event for a $15 donation and as always refreshments including Pizza will be included for everyone who participates. After the Fun Run enjoy the illumination of the balloons on the horizon. Parking fee is $10/vehicle with all proceeds going to the Lansing Promise program. The field for the run should be considered a cross country event and strollers should not be used unless equiped to handle rough terrain. Please order t-shirt size when registering online.
