Magic Folk! On your mark — get set — RUN LIKE YOU’RE NOT SURE WHERE YOU’RE GOING!
This year marks the 2nd annual Run That Shall Not Be Named 5 3/4k FUN RUN!
This noncompetitive** 5k FUN RUN will take you on a magical journey through the Kent State University campus at dusk on Friday, July 26th to kick off the Wizardly World of Kent. The race will begin at 7:30pm at the Lester Lefton Esplanade located across from the PARTA Bus Station in downtown Kent, Ohio and take you on a spellbinding loop though some of Kent State’s most magnificent places. Dress up as your favorite magical character and join the fun! Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome and encouraged***!
Registration for this race is $35 and includes a race medal and t-shirt. Proceeds from this race will be given to local non-profit organization Main Street Kent. Be sure to register by July 1st, 2019 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
This event is open to 500 participants; registration closes at 11:59 PM on July, 24th!

**Noncompetitive = not chip timed; runners may have to slow down for moving vehicles at road crossings; HOWEVER, this course WILL be staffed with volunteers to ensure safety of the participants.
***Dress your dog and stroller for the fun! Sorry, no brooms or bikes allowed.
