The Trial Run 5k

The Mental Wellness Society an organization at the Syracuse University College of Law. The goal of our organization is to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health. We want the student body to know that there are friendly faces at school that can point them in the right direction for whatever kind of help is needed. Mental health and overall wellness are important issues that should not be neglected. We do not want anybody to feel like they are dealing with anything alone during their time at SUCOL. 

This will be our second race of this school year. Our Fall race was a hit, so we figured we would give the people what they want and host a Spring race! So many people bond over running and other outdoor activities. Hosting a run/walk is a great way to motivate people to get out of the library, clear their minds, and spend some time outside with friends. The event is open to everyone, SUCOL student or not. We just want people to come out and have a good time!

Additionally, this time we will be donating a portion of the race proceeds to Tackle ALS. Tackle ALS is a very meaningful cause dedicated to making a difference for individuals living with ALS. 100% of the donations made to Tackle ALS go towards research to try and find the cures for ALS, as well as more effective treatments.
