The Young & The Breathless 5K Fun Run

Location: The race will begin and end at  Reiter Park, Longwood, FL 32750

Event Details: The Young & The Breathless 5K Fun Run is a family friendly event where 5K runners are encouraged to walk, crawl, spin, roll or run! An awards program will take place after the race where sponsors, vendors, food trucks and much more will be available for runners and families. The 5K will be a timed race and will include prizes for the top three runners in 7 age groups, including men and women. Runners will receive a bib number with a disposable timed chip on the back, race shirt, race medal and other swag.

Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will take place at Front Running Sports
Event Schedule:
6:30 am - Packet Pickup & Registration Opens
7:30 am - 5K Race Starts (we will stagger start times every 5 minutes by age groups)
9:00 am - Fun Run starts
10:00 am - Awards ceremony begins

Awards: Top overall male and female and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups for 5K include 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Shirts: Shirt sizes are guaranteed to all participants that register before January 31. Those that register after January 31 are subject to limited availability of shirts.

Parking: Parking will be located across from Reiter Park in the South Seminole Hospital parking lot.

Proceeds:
Proceeds from this event will help support the development of future community leaders and Disaster Relief.

Timing & Scoring
Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

Course: Race course is USATF sanctioned.
