Join us on May 16, 2020, at 9 am at Running Y Ranch Sports Center for our second annual Thin Blue Line Charity Run! In association with National Police Week.
In association with National Police Week, we are bringing people together for the first annual 5k/10k run to support and interact with our local law enforcement, all while raising money for a great cause!
The thin blue line is an image that represents law enforcement standing together to protect each other and the community from the evil that exists. We often use the thin blue line as a symbol to remember and honor fallen law enforcement and the sacrifice they made. While our local law enforcement appreciates and desires community support and respect, they have asked that the funds raised be given back to an organization that is making a difference in our community. This year we will be giving all proceeds to “Friends of the Children” for the phenomenal work they do in long-term mentorship of at-risk children.
There are 5k walk, 5k run and 10k run options. Family and dog friendly. Hilly and beautiful scenery along the 5k paved trail. 10k runners will loop it twice. There will be prizes for the top female and male 5k and 10k runners. Raffle prize entries for anyone who comes to race day!
