Thursday Night Run Series #4

The last race in the series will be held at Fox Run RV & Campground where the runners will start at the top of the hill and run down into Matanuska Lake Recreation Area. The course heads into the park and continues on the beautiful single track along Long Lake. 

There are 3 options for running: 

ONE MILE: this loop can be completed by children and adults - there is an option to run this loop 2 times if the runner completes the first loop in 15 minutes or less. Any children running this course must be accompanied by an adult or a parental guardian should be on the course to assist with safety. We will have volunteers on the course as well.

SHORT COURSE: This loop is about 4.5 miles and is run along hilly single track through the woods of the park. This run is for children 11 years old and up.

LONG COURSE: This course is completed by running th "short course" two times. We will have a time cut off to complete this loop as runners MUST have completed the first loop in under an hour to go on for a second loop. This is due to safety on the course for the runners while it does get dark early on in the evening. We encourage all who wish to run the second loop to please consider the volunteers if you are close to the one hour cut off for the first loop. 

Happy Bison BBQ will be providing delicious soup inside the Fox Run Lodge after the run- so bring your appetites! They will be offering 2 different types of soup for a small fee of $8. Along with the soup they are serving homemade bread and salad. We encourage all to try this award winning soup after the run. Meals can be purchased on the last page of this registration.
