About the event
United Way of the Bluegrass will be hosting its 5th annual 5K on the Runway at Blue Grass Airport on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 8:00 AM. Unique to any other race, the course takes place on an actual runway with aircraft as your scenery!
Strollers are welcome, but no scooters, skates, bikes, skateboards or pets will be permitted.
On-site registration available Friday, June 10 from 8 AM - 6 PM at the Lexington Herald-Leader or at the race site between 6:30-7:30AM on Saturday.
Registration Fees:
Standard – $30.00 per adult* through June 9 at 8:00 PM On-site - $35.00 per adult* - Friday, June 10 at the Lexington Herald-Leader and Saturday June 11 on-site*Any participatnt age 15 or older is considered an adult. See below for pricing details on children 14 and under.
Children's Fees:
Online registration will be available until Thursday, June 9 at 8:00 PM after this point, on-site registration will be required.
Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather or in the case that you cannot paricipate in the race. Registrations may be transferred upon request through June 9, 2016.

Race packet pickup will be at United Way on Friday, June 19 from 8 AM - 6 PM.
United Way is located in the Lexington Herald-Leader building at 100 Midland Avenue, Lexington KY 40508. For your convenience, packet pick up will take place in the front parking lot, weather permitting. If weather forces us indoors, packet pick up will take place inside the front lobby of the Herald-Leader building.
If you are unable to pick-up your packet on Friday, packets may be picked up between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM prior to the race on Saturday, June 20 at the race site.
