About the event
Help celebrate Veterans Day with a 5K and NEW 10K event honoring those who have served our country. Both events will be held at English Landing Park in Parkville and participants will receive a custom finishers medal and top finishers will compete for age group and overall awards. Registrants can add a race shirt for an additional fee.
This race is being run in honor of long time area runner, World War II veteran, and VFW employee, Ed Burnham, and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the VFW Foundation in his honor. The VFW Foundation supports troops abroad, military families back in the U.S. and America’s often-forgotten veterans. Learn more about this organization HERE.
