Victory for Veterans 1M/5K/10K

The Victory for Veterans race (1 Mile, 5K & 10K) takes place on the beautiful grounds of Cowan Lake State Park. This community outreach event from American Showa, Inc.,  benefits local homeless veterans through Volunteers of America's Veterans Services program.

From experienced runners to first time participants, all are encouraged and welcome! Whether you are running to compete for an award or walking your first 5K, we are grateful that you've chosen to join us! This is American Showa's second year hosting the Victory for Veterans event at Cowan Lake and our event team can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Event Schedule

8:20am – 50 Yard Kid's Sprint (ages 3-5) 

8:25am –100 Yard Kid's Dash (ages 6-10)

 9:00am – 5K/10K/1 Mile Race Begins

This is a family friendly race event.  Strollers are welcome on the race course.
