The Vines to Wine run at Cache Creek Winery, will be a memorable experience whether you are walking or running the Scenic 5k course or running the 10K course. Both events will take place on hard pack vineyard roads winding among the vineyards and surrounding country side. This is not a flat course. Be prepared for moderate hills on portions of the course and two moderately steep hills.  Participants will experience the vineyards up close, for a truly unique and breathtaking event.  This event will be chip timed by NorCal timing.   Check out the incredible venue at www.cachecreekvineyards.com

Note: No Dogs or Strollers on Course Note: Suggest sizing  DOWN on long sleeve unisex shirt if you like more fitted. If you upgrade to unisex hoodie be aware, they run small.  Limited Spots Register Early!  Participation will be limited to 350 total participants and may sell out  Benefits Lower Lake and Upper Lake Cross Country and Track

The net proceeds of this event will support the Cross Country and Track programs at both Lower Lake and Upper Lake High Schools.

EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS. ONLINE TRANSFERS ARE ALLOWED BETWEEN 5K and 10K DISTANCES UNTIL OCTOBER 15. 

Awards

Medals: Overall Plaques 3-deep will be presented to the over-all winners  male and female in the 5K and 10K. Age-division medals for the 5K and 10K (note divisions based on registration data) will be available for pick-up as soon as the results are posted. Be sure to check out your standings in real time on the result tv-monitors and stop by the award table if you won! Medals will not be mailed.

This and That

A few things you should know: Bib and shirt pick up will happen on event morning from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Please be there to pick-up between those times, you will want plenty of time to stretch, use the restroom and listen to course instructions etc.... The event will start promptly at 10 am. No late birds!

Are you a young-in?- If you are between 21 and 30 (or look like it), please bring your photo i.d. to bib pick-up if you want a “it is a-okay for me to drink wine and enjoy it” wristband. Legal photo id must be presented when asked.

Time Change: Don’t you love to sleep in? Well you are in luck, “fall back” time happens in the wee hours of November 5th , so you gain an extra hour to get to the race start Sunday, November 5th. Do not forget to set your clocks BACK Saturday evening, and enjoy the extra 60 minutes of zzzzzz’s.

 This event is RAIN OR SHINE and is non-refundable. In case of rain, bring warm clothing to change into after you complete the course. If for some reason you cannot make the event we will not be mailing event shirts etc…. you may have a friend pick-up for you on race morning if you give them a copy of your photo id along with a written note.
