Warrior Weekend 5k, Fun Run, Walk, and Roll

Mustang Parks and Recreation hosts a youth baseball and softball tournament at Wild Horse Park, and donates the proceeds to Warriors for Freedom. MPF is joining in the weekend's festivities by hosting a 5k fun run where participants can run, walk or roll! The course will begin and end at the Veteran's Memorial on the north side of Wildhorse Park, off 59th Street, by the airplane and tank. Pre-registration is required to ensure a t-shirt is available for participants. Day-of sign ups will be available, but t-shirts cannot be guaranteed. The event will take place in the evening to ensure the weather is suitable for all participants. This will be a dog friendly event. Dogs must be leashed. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Warriors for Freedom.

Registration will close at noon on Friday, April 26, 2019 at noon. After this time, t-shirts cannot be guaranteed.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 5:45pm. Race will begin at 6:00pm.
