Waves Of Gray - 5K Brain Cancer Awareness Walk

My name is Dianne, I created the Waves of Gray – 5K Brain Cancer Awareness Walk in memory of my husband, Fred K. Fenton II. Fred lost his battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma) in November 2016. When he was sick, I felt extremely helpless as caregivers often do. This walk is a way I can bring together the Jacksonville brain tumor community to raise awareness & money for brain cancer/tumor research. This year, Waves of Gray has partnered with Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. Funds raised will benefit the Waves of Gray Neuro-Oncology Endowment supporting research programs at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
