Who Is Your Hero?

We are back for our second year of celebrating the HEROES of The Sandbox with our “Who’s Your Hero?” 10k/5k! Heroes are people in our lives who have done extraordinary things. They show strength, bravery and courage in the face of unfathomable circumstances. In The Sandbox, HEROES are the children who have gone before us. This Race goes out to our Heroes! We will come together on November 2nd to recognize each and every one of those Heroes. “Who Is Your Hero?” is a 10k/5k run/walk that raises money to support The Sandbox CARRE program. Through CARRE we are able to meet the individual needs of families that have a child with cancer, rare, a life-altering or terminal illness. We are excited to announce that this year’s race will be held at the gorgeous Rea Park located in South Charlotte at Rea Farms! The race will cover 10k/5k (6.2 miles and 3.2 miles). When we celebrate our families in The Sandbox it’s always a party! We will have music, a children’s fun run, a sponsorship expo and so much more!
