Winter Witch's Hat 5K Cookie Race

The Winter Witch's Hat Run is sponsored by the South Lyon High School Boys' Cross Country team.  It is a timed 5K Run/Walk starting and ending inside Island Lake Recreation Area in Brighton.  Parking is at the Kent Lake Beach parking lot. Registration begins at 8:15 AM at the Kent Lake Beach parking lot.  A shuttle bus will take runners to Riverbend starting at 830 AM.  THERE IS NO PARKING AT RIVERBEND!   The race starts at 10 AM from Riverbend and races toward Kent Lake on the paved trail.  Refreshments & Awards will be at the finish line bonfire near the Kent Lake parking lot. Parking at Kent Lake will be monitored for security.
