PRE-REGISTRATION ENDS 48 HOURS BEFORE THE RACE, BUT LATE REGISTRATIONS ON THE MORNING OF THE RACE ARE WELCOME!
This is a benefit run to help fund intensive therapies needed to treat local children. These therapies are not covered by insurance. Your $45 run registration fee will make a difference in the treatment of these kids!
Runners, walkers, strollers, wheelchairs, and those of all abilities are encouraged to participate! The race course follows the Woods Creek Trail. Beginning and ending at the Historic Miller House Museum in Jordan’s Point Park in Lexington Virginia, you will run up the hill to VMI’s scenic view overlooking practice fields and barracks before getting a taste of Washington & Lee campus. You will glide by the beautiful and bubbling Wood’s Creek before crossing into the Lime Kiln Park and turning around on the far side of Waddell Elementary. The finish will be a glorious down hill dash! As you wait on results, kick back and enjoy some great music from local artists as you enjoy food and a beverage and other festivities. This is a family friendly run and post-run event!
All participants will receive a drink, and tba food with their registration. Those who register by April 16th will receive a t-shirt and be entered into a drawing for a pair of free shoes from Lex Running Shop.
Food and beer will be sold to non-participants and participants who would like additional food and beer.
