The 7th Annual Beach Dash is Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the beautiful Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in Kure Beach, NC and presented by New Balance Wilmington!
There will be TWO event times EACH with groups starting in waves. This will allow adequate time to assure that all challenge/obstacle stations can be replenished and reset to provide all groups the same fun experience!
Add some FUN to your Sunday and Dash down to the beach to experience 8-10 exciting and challenging obstacles. There’s also a few blast stations along the course to liven things up!

The first 300 to register will receive a cool tie dyed t-shirt, participant medal, and other swag items! The sand and obstacles makes this dash a unique challenge for even the veteran mud-runner, but with a fun, no-pressure atmosphere including color blast stations, optional obstacles, and no chip timing – this event is great for the whole family!
Groups are encouraged to participate in coordinated or themed costume/uniforms for some prizes and recognition.
PACKET PICK UP:
Bring the entire family for this fun filled event! The event is not timed and obstacles are geared for all ages and fitness levels! The Dash is approximately 1.4 miles in length with fun music, and snacks to follow the event!
The New Balance Wilmington Beach Dash will take place RAIN or SHINE! However, in the event of high winds or other inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for safety reasons to the next weekend – Sunday, April 7th. If the event is rescheduled you will be notified via email.
The New Balance Wilmington Beach Dash is the second race of the 2020 YCC Run Series. This year-round run series inspires the community to be active and have fun year-round. The 2019 YCC Run Series includes 9 events ranging in 1 mile fun runs to 10k road races. To participate in the series all you have to do is run, walk or dash in at least 3 of the 9 events.
