Lantau Vertical is the first vertical race in Hong Kong

11 Jun, 2014 (Wed)

The creators of the Translantau 100 km in Hong-Kong (see: Translantau – Running in the green side of Honk Kong ) are launching a new event. This time it is a vertical race. The location is the same: the gorgeous and wild Lantau Island.

On September 21, 2014, the event will start at Shek Pik reservoir. The first 5 km will be a slow ascent on the beautiful Shek Pik Country trail to the wisdom path, it will then continue on a steep 2 km climb with high stairs. The finish line will be located at the top of Lantau Peak 934m above sea level. The total elevation gain will be 900m.

Registration is open.
