Lawrence Cherono took top honors by finishing the race in 02:08:27, setting a new record for the course. Coming in second was Wilson Chebet (02:09:55). Rounding out the top three was Vincent Yator with a time of 02:10:38.
For the women, Brigid Kosgei won the race with a time of 02:22:15, ahead of Nancy Kiprop (02:29:16), establishing as well the new course record. The third place went to Joyce Chepkirui with a time of 02:33:18
