Marathon results
Steven Bayton (2:22:34) bested more than 9,300 runners to win the 40th annual ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in England.
Kevin Rojas earned runner-up honors with a time of 2:23:03.
In third was Nathan Kilcourse (2:25:08) cutting close to a minute from his tenth place finish a year ago.

For the women, it was Kelly Crickmore (2:48:04) claiming victory.
Samantha Amend (2:52:07) repeated as runner-up, coming in almost a minute ahead of Anne Holyland (2:52:52).
