Marathon results
Geoffrey Burns (2:24:57) best thousands to win the Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon in southeast Louisiana.
Coming in a close second was last year’s winner John Brigham at 2:25:28.
David Rodriguez rounded out the top three with a time of 2:32:18.

For the women, it was Meggan Franks (2:51:50) finishing well ahead of the field.
Kelsey Bragg earned runner-up honors with a time of 2:56:26.
Amanda McEnroe (2:57:38) was the only other runner to finish under three hours.

Emil Dobrowolski (1:04:16) outpaced thousands of runners to win the Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Half Marathon.
Derlis Ayala secured second with a time of 1:05:09.
In third was Jakub Nowak at 1:06:52.
For the women, it was Neely Spence Gracy (1:14:19) taking the top spot.
Runner-up Danya Pidhoresky set a personal best with a time of 1:18:41.
Allie Moore (1:19:35) finished third.
