Merhawi Kesete from Eritrea won the 2015 Hamburg Half Marathon with a time of 01:00:52, setting a new course record. He was followed on the finish line by two runners from Kenya Daniel Kipkosgei Yator (01:01:12) and Charles Cheruiyot (01:01:57).
Kenya’s Agnes Katunge Mutune won the women’s race in 01:11:27, also a new record for Hamburg. Halima Beriso (ETH – 01:12:29) and Janet Rono (KEN – 01:13:20) took the second and third places.
6,418 runners crossed the finish line in 2015.
