The Rockland Road Runners’ 5 Mile Turkey Trot for The Marisa Fund has become the largest running event in Rockland County, drawing over 3,100+ participants from the NY Metro area and beyond. 2021 is the 30th Annual Run! The money raised will support the efforts of the Marisa Fund to eradicate childhood cancer. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a truly memorable running experience!
WHERE: Start & finish at Rockland Lake State Park, Congers, NY (north parking lot #1)
VIRTUAL: You have from Sunday, Nov 21 to Sunday, Nov 28 to complete your 5 miles any way you like! If you are not happy with your time, feel free to run it again. If you pick a course that is too challenging, you are welcome to try a different route. We just want to make sure that everyone continues to enjoy the tradition of the Turkey Trot even if they can’t join us on Thanksgiving morning.
WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, November 25th, 2021. Race starts at 8:30AM – Wheelchairs start at 8:15AM
FEES: $40 – General | $30 – RRR members | $25 Senior (65+) | $35 Early Bird (register before September 1)
PACKET PICKUP/IN PERSON REGISTRATION: Packet pickup will be at Bridges, 2290 Palisades Center Dr, West Nyack, NY 10994, on November 22, 23 and 24. Runners who register at Bridges will receive shirts on a first come first serve basis. There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
Register by Nov 17th to ensure you receive your commemorative shirt in time for your run.
