Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals

Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals 5K/10K and Kids 1/2 Mile events are hosted by the Cosley Foundation to raise funds for the animals at Cosley Zoo as well as exhibit development projects, public programs, and conservation projects. Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals is one of the suburb's largest 5K/10K running events. The 5K/10K events are CARA certified and the course is USATF certified. The 10K is part of the CARA Runners' Choice Circuit Series.

The first 2,500 runners will receive a long-sleeve race shirt and finisher's medal. Additional awards will be provided to the top three overall male and female 5K and 10K finishers (based on gun time) and the top three  5K and 10K finishers in each age group (based on chip time).
