The beautiful coastal course takes you through FUNKY Leucadia, Encinitas, and gorgeous downtown Solana Beach.
This is not just another road race! We're heavily focused on creating a unique & memorable half marathon experience for you! We have a creative team consisting of event organizers from world famous events to help make this course one you will NEVER forget!
COURSE DESCRIPTION: You'll start and finish at Moonlight Beach and B Street! The race begins by heading east on B Street to Hwy 101, then turning left going through Leucadia - passing by local hot spots like Pannikin and Solterra Winery. There will be aid station support and toilets at every mile. You'll also be suprised with some "funky course entertainment" to keep you smiling! Next, you'll run through Encinitas passing the Encinitas Boat Houses, Swami's Temple and Gardens, Cardiff Kook Statue and you'll make your way down the ocean front road to downtown Solana Beach. Turning around at Lomas Santa Fe, you'll then head straight back for the finish line. 3 hours and 15 minute (14:53/pace) time limit!
The FINISH LINE FESTIVAL: includes receiving your FINISHER'S MEDAL, a complimentary BREAKFAST, MUSIC, CELEBRATION & FEELING AWESOME about your accomplishment.
Parking will be FREE! You can park in Encinitas near the start/finish line or you may take the shuttle from Mira Costa College. See website for details.
$140,000 of the proceeds will be donated back towards Ocean Conservation, humanitarian and youth education programs.
