Come enjoy the beauty of Tennessee's most popular state park. Cooler temps, shaded run course, and the highest free-falling waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains are just a few of the attractions of the Fall Creek Falls 5K & 10K Runs. Post-race snacks and music for all participants. Centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Race start time is 8:00 AM Central Standard Time.
Late registration & Packet pick up is Friday, August 19 from 4:30 to 6 PM CST & Saturday, August 20 from 7 to 7:45 AM. 10K will start at 8 AM CST & 5K at 8:05 AM CST. Pre-event information will be sent to participants the week of the event. 5K Map link here -10K Map link here - Both routes begin & end through the Taft Village area and across Fall Creek Falls Dam - 5K does an out & back on paved path through woods to LEFT after Dam - 10K route goes RIGHT after Dam & follows paved path & park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls back to Dam and FINISH in Taft Village area. Aid stations each mile with water & Gatorade. Path route is completely shaded. Please stay on side of road marked with TRAFFIC CONES throughout the course.

5K Run
The unique awards and bluegrass music are highlights of a wonderful time to be had by all in this quite rural setting.
Race start time is 9 AM Central Standard Time. Arrive at site no later than 7:30 AM CST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for event starting promptly at 9 AM CST.
RACE LOCATION – Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN
(please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!)
BOOK ROOMS EARLY - Inn at Fall Creek Falls - 800-250-8610 - This is only hotel within about 10 miles of park. Nice accommodations of rooms and cabin homes & right across lake from transition.

RUN - 10 kilometers - The run is one of the highlights of the course, as it takes place on a shaded bike trail through the beautiful woods of the state park. The run features rolling hills--nothing steep. Run Map Link: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2789497
Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top three male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena.
