ABOUT THE RACES!
Join us in Great Bend, Kansas for the 7th Annual Flatlander Half Marathon, 10K and 5K on Saturday, October 15.
Runners start and finish near Jack Kilby Square in downtown Great Bend.
Each participant receives a race T-shirt, a swag bag of goodies from our sponsors, and a complimentary breakfast. Free race photos published on our Facebook page after the event.
Proceeds will be used to fund fitness and wellness initiatives in Barton County via Be Well Barton County and the Bike/Pedestrian Master Plan.

HALF MARATHON - 13.1 Miles
Zip along on our SUPER FLAT course through and around Great Bend, KS, which winds through two city parks, our hike and bike trail, and beautiful tree-lined residential streets. Ample restroom facilities are made available at the starting line and at the park pavilion. Hydration stations are available roughly every three miles.
Awards will be presented to the top male and top female finishers in five age groups (13 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 and Over). All finishers will receive a medal.

5K (3.11 miles) & 10K (6.22 miles)
Join us at Jack Kilby Square for a well-marked scenic route through Great Bend that includes Brit Spaugh Park, residential areas and our historic downtown.
Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in six age groups (12 and Under, 13 to 18, 19 to 25, 26 to 35, 36 to 49, 50 and Over).
