Hello. We are a group of friends who are trying to get a 5k run/walk together in honor of a very special friend of ours who had courageously fought the hardest fight of her life. Colon Cancer. We, in hopes of doing this, would also love to start a new yearly tradition to keep her spirit of the fight going. Because that is exactly the type of woman she was: Full of Fight and Spirit. Even though she was weary from the battle, she did not just sit still and let it define her. She fought every day to do the things she would normally enjoy do; Spend time with her family and friends. To do this run/walk, would keep her fight and spirit going.
We are asking you to join us with our run/walk, in any way you can, on the date of April 25, 2020, at the Municipal in Smyrna DE. With this run/walk, we are hoping to, not only raise money to help others with their fight with Colon Cancer, but to also raise awareness on how important these screenings are.
