Griffin 5k

The 3-5 PTO of North DeSoto Elementary proudly presents The 5th Annual Griffin 5K and ½ Mile Fun Run.

*All proceeds from the race will go to purchase needed equipment and supplies for our school.

Date & Starting Time:  Saturday, March 12, 2016; ½ mile fun run starts at 8:30 am, 5k starts at 8:45 am.

Course Description: RACE IS ON NORTH DESOTO CAMPUS ONLY. Race starts on NDHS TRACK. ½ mile Fun Run is run solely on the NDHS Track, so parents are welcome to spectate from the stands.

Registration:  STUDENTS 18 & Under = $15. ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS = Early Registration is $20 until February 27th. $25 through MARCH 11th.  Race day Registration is $30.  You may register at the School or Sign Up Online at www.sportspectrumusa.com. You may pay with a Credit Card ONLINE ONLY or pay with cash or check at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, 71105. There is a convenience fee added by the online registration site for online registrations. REGISTER EARLY! SWAG bags with koozie will be given to the first 150 registrants. Shirts are included in registration. No shirts guaranteed to late registrants.

Packet Pick Up: You may pick up your packet at Sportspectrum Thursday, March 10th from 12 pm - 6 pm and Friday, March 11th from

10 am – 5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:30 am.

Awards:  Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $50 Gift Certificate and a medal. Additionally, overall age group top three finishers will receive a medal.

Age Groups:  11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Post Party:  Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments and awards!!

Special Note:  Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
