About the event
This will be one of the most challenging, and most rewarding 1/2 marathon courses you will do this year. The first 2 miles of the course begin on pavement, and then you find yourself on an improved Forest Service dirt road. The overall altitude change is about 1,000 throughout the run with gradual incline changes. But there are many of them! You will enjoy shade from the pine and beautiful views. This run will be very well worth it!
