Jamborun 5K Run/Walk & Family Fun Run Obstacle Course

Eastlake Community Church invites you to participate in the 2nd Annual Jamborun 5k, Saturday October 31st. This is a community event open to all people, of all fitness levels, from the novice to the seasoned athlete.

Join in the fun after the event at THE JAMBOREE AT SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE.  Activities include a car, bike, and truck show (9am - 1pm), live blue grass music, a pig and hot dog roast, jump houses, games, a petting zoo, Candy Trail hay rides, and a live auction (1pm)!

5K Run/Walk:  $25 (thru Oct. 29) || $30 Packet Pickup & Race Day (Oct. 30th-31st)
FAMILY FUN RUN:  FREE

COURSE(S):
The 5k will be held at East Lake Community Church (1201 Timberwood Drive, Moneta, Virginia  24121). The course is a cross country course that winds through much of the EastLake church property.  Filled with rolling hills, the course is scenic with beautiful mountain views.  It is challenging, but not daunting.  Walkers and people of all skill level are welcome.  This will be an official course with electronic timing for the competitive runner. 

PAPER REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT
Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

5K T-SHIRTS:
Participants registered on or before Wednesday OCTOBER 7th are guaranteed. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup race morning.

5K AWARDS:
Top 3 Overall M/F, Top M/F in each age group (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older). Rankings are based on "chip" time.

PETS AND STROLLERS ARE PROHIBITED.
