Malibu Half Marathon & 5K

The Malibu Half Marathon & 5K is now in its 9th year and will return Sunday, November 4 & 5th, 2017, with a spectacular course starting and ending in world famous Zuma Beach, Malibu CA. Nearly 3,000 runners will gather on Saturday to attend the Health & Fitness Expo and on Sunday to run the storied Pacific Coast Highway without fighting cars or traffic.

Along the way, the race route offers some of California’s most spectacular views of the ocean as well as the beautiful beachfront homes, many of which are owned by A-list Hollywood’s celebrities.

The Half Marathon course is USATF-certified and participants will have 4+ hours to complete their race, i.e. 18 minutes-per-mile pace for the Half-Marathon.

Because of the importance of their grassroots efforts and commitment to the Malibu Community, ‘The Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu’ are the race flagship charity. The club’s mission is to significantly enhance the lives of Malibu youth which includes a focus on bilingual counseling, education and Angels at Risk, a drug intervention program for teens and their families.
