A new international running festival incorporating 42km, 21km, 10km and 3km kids run options.

Set between the backdrop of the world renowned Crown and Remarkable mountain ranges, and taking in the best highlights of the Queenstown Lakes region including Millbrook resort, Arrowtown, Lakes Hayes, Shotover River, Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Gardens and finishing in the heart of Queenstown itself.

The course is designed to show you the highlights of the region of Queentown including Millbrook, Arrowtown, Arrow River, Lake Hayes, Old Shotover Bridge, Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown Gardens. It is quite flat and fast. The terrain is 40% road , 60% hard packed trails.

Results 2017: Air New Zealand Queenstown International Marathon

Marathon Samuel Wreford scored victory with a time of 02:27:55. Blair Mcwhirter secured second in this year’s race with a time of 02:32:45. Jason Hall (02:35:19) made notched third place.
