RS 5k for Christmas

DESCRIPTION
As we prepare for the coming joy of the holiday season, we also recognize that the excitement of this time of year can be an extreme disappointment for underprivileged families who are unable to purchase gifts for their children. Restoration Station is a church in Edgewater Park with a mission to restore Burlington County through community outreach services and events. As a part of that mission, we are planning to help the community by distributing free toys to underprivileged children across the Burlington County area for the Christmas Holiday. Annually, we are able to provide over 1000 toys to 300+ children who, otherwise, would have gone without. This year we are looking forward to continuing to serve these families and brighten the faces of children across Burlington County. To raise money to serve the community, this year we are hosting the "RS 5k for Christmas" and 1 Mile Fun Walk!

We are inviting you to partner with us in our 14th Annual Christmas Toy Give Away. By signing up and participating in the "RS 5k for Christmas" and 1 Mile Fun Walk, you help us to put a smile on children's faces this Christmas.

PARTICIPANTS WHO REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 30TH WILL RECEIVE A RACE T-SHIRT INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION!

DATE: Saturday, October 12, 2019

START TIME: 8:30am for 5k Runners/Walkers, 8:40am for 1k walkers

TIMING: This is an untimed race but top 3 5k finishers will receive a medal!

TEAM REGISTRATION
Registering as a team is a fun way to participate! Dress in the spirit of the race or choose your own theme. To register as a team, simply check "Yes" to Would you like to join a Group/Team?

INDIVIDUAL RACE AWARDS
This is an untimed race but top 3 5k finishers (runners and walkers) will receive a finisher’s medal!

BIB PICKUP

DAY BEFORE EVENT: Pick up your bib a day early on Friday, October 11th from 5pm-7pm at 4313 Route 130 S, Suite A-6, Edgewater Park, NJ.
DAY OF EVENT: Event day bib pick-up begins at 7:15 am at Green Acres Park.

REGISTRATION FEES
5K  (Runners): $30 in advance, $40 day off

1K  (Walkers): $20 in advance, $25 day off

Teams of 5 or more 5k runners/walkers: $25 advance registration only

Teams of 5 or more 1k walkers: $15 advance registration only

WEATHER/REFUNDS
This event will take place rain or shine. Sorry, no refunds will be issued. Thank you for your support!
