Canes Cross Country Classic 5K & 1K

** UPDATE:  Packet pick up and race day registration will be 7:00-7:45 a.m. at the GT Bray amphitheater.  There is NO early packet pick up.  Thank you. ** Race day registration is cash or check only payable to Manatee High School with your phone number on the check.  We cannot accept credit cards.  $40 for 5K and $10 for 1K.

26th Annual Canes Cross Country Classic 5K & 1K

Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2018 at G.T. Bray Park, Bradenton, Florida

5K run/walk at 8:00 a.m.  This awesome cross country course takes you over trails, grass, and road. Flat and fast!

1K family fun run/walk at 9:15 a.m.  The 1K course is on trails all within the park and great for any age.  Our goal is to help fight childhood obesity.  Get your kids interested in running or walking early!

Both races are open to all ages and abilities. 5K awards to overall, masters, GM, SGM, & VGM plus 3 deep in age groups.  All 1K finishers receive a ribbon and trophies to overall female and male who registered for the 1K.

Rockin' door prizes, chip timing, and unique shirt designs....some of the coolest race shirts you'll find!  Shirt sizes only guaranteed by 8/14/2018.  After that, we'll do our best to get you the size you'd like.

We are Manatee County's oldest running tradition.

Schedule of Events:

7:00-7:45 a.m. - packet pick up and race day registration

7:52 a.m. - high school girls cross country team start

7:55 a.m. - higgh school boys cross country team start

8:00 a.m. - Canes Cross Country Classic 5K start on 33rd Ave Dr W at 51st St W

9:15 a.m. - Canes Cross Country Classic 1K start in 51st Street Park parking lot near restrooms

9:45 a.m. - start of door prizes followed by awards
