Dolomiti Extreme Trail

June 08, 2019 - June 09, 2019 # 6

The next edition will happen on Jun 08 2020.

The event starts at 05:00.

A spectacular circuit route that initially crosses an area of wildness, through the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, off the beaten track, below the Spiz di Mezzodì, the Moschesin and through the Val Pramper.
The central section follows the classic route of the DXT 53 K, with evocative scree traverses on some of the most famous mountains of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including the Civetta and the Pelmo.
The final section of the track (DXT 103K) leads to the summit of the panoramic Mount Rite (2,183 m), home of the Messner Mountain Museum, the “Museum in the clouds”, built on the remains of World War I fortifications. It then climbs up towards the group of Bosconero with splendid views of the Rocchette and the Toanèlla and finally descends steeply into the valley.
