The 4th Annual One Life To Live Four Legged Friends 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk will take place on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, Pa. The race benefits the One Life To Live Pet Rescue and Adoption, which is based in Scranton. One Life to Live rescues dogs and cats from high kill shelters and finds them forever homes throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. The 5K race winds through scenic Nay Aug Park in Scranton’s Hill Section and also includes a separate 1 mile walk through the park as well. The cost of registration will be $20.00 up until August 26th. After that date, the price increases to $25.00. A t-shirt in your requested size will be guaranteed if registration is completed on or before August 26th. After that date, t-shirts will be distributed as available. The race will begin at 9:30am with registration/ packet pick up beginning at 8:00am. All runners/walkers are able to participate with a dog as long as they are leashed.  A basket raffle will immediately follow the race and prizes will be awarded to the 1st place male runner, 1st place female runner, and 1st place runner accompanied by a dog. Children under 10 can participate for free but a $5.00 fee will be required for a t-shirt. Music will be provided by the Rock 107 radio station and light refreshments will be provided for participants. Thanks in advance for your support and see you on race day!
